The classroom
I started in the classroom, where I learned how confidence, context, and the right support can change an outcome.

I started in the classroom, where I learned how confidence, context, and the right support can change an outcome.
I turned everyday classroom frustrations into better digital tools by translating teachers' needs and speaking up for the people using them.
Curiosity became prototypes, then product work. The skills I built in education came with me.
As products grew, I shifted from individual features to the patterns, platforms, and shared language holding them together.
I now lead work across strategy, interaction, and systems for products serving 18M+ learners.
Good design keeps complexity behind the scenes, so people can focus on what they came to do.
The screen is only part of the story. Time, attention, confidence, and context matter too.
Good systems make room for products, people, and teams to evolve without starting over.
I'm a product designer in New York, and I work on software people rely on when a lot is riding on it. The information is complicated, mistakes matter, and nobody has time to stop and figure out the screen. Before design, I was a teacher, and more than ten years in education taught me to look at everything around the tool too: the room, the pressure, and the person just trying to get through their day.
It's a habit that carries into any industry. I've modernized old platforms, simplified tangled workflows, and built design systems that hold up across products and teams. I do my best work when the problem is a little messy, the stakes are real, and I'm surrounded by good people.
